Well it stands to reason that a site such as this should come about after having Empty Nest Moms for 10 years now! We have had a lot of discussions concerning our pets on the ENMoms Message Board, about what wonderful companions they have made since the kids have left home and also what affects this Empty Nest has also had on the pets. See, we aren't the only ones that goes through this empty nest phase! But this site isn't just for those that have pets now but also for those who may have had them in the past and are thinking about getting another now to help fill the void of the kids leaving home. What a great way to help yourself and a homeless pet looking for a new home. I have to tell you, I am a big advocate of adopting pets from Shelters! So do think seriously of adopting if you are looking for a new pet or to add to your 'family' now.
